Lakeview Wellness at Lake Santee
Lakeview Wellness Pool Rental Program (Dec 2024 - Jan 2025)
The Lakeview Wellness pool rental pilot program will run from December 2024 through January 2025, offering a unique opportunity to enjoy private pool access while supporting the transformation of the pool house at the Lake Santee Marina! Our intention is to provide more opportunities for the pool to be a community resource, as this is aligned with our mission of creating vibrant opportunities for all.
Time
All reservations are for 2-hour time slots during the pilot program. (you do not have to stay the entire 2-hours)
Pool Facts
- Depth: 3 ft (shallow end) to 8 ft (deep end).
- Size: 32 ft long x 18 ft wide, with a capacity of 25,000 gallons.
- Heated to 86 degrees, can be adjusted with notice
Accessibility
The current pool house is not ADA accessible (we are raising funds to change that)
What’s Included in Your Reservation
- Use of the pool, bathroom, and hot tub with jets.
- Use of blue tooth speaker and wi-fi
- Use of noodles, floaties, water weights
Food and Drink
- Food and drinks are allowed for the pilot program, you’re asked to leave the space how you found it
- No alcohol is permitted in the pool house
- No glass is permitted in the pool house
What dates are available?
Dates are limited and based on our volunteer’s schedule. Please reach out with your request and we will do our best to accommodate you!!
Attendee information:
- The maximum number of people permitted in the pool house is 20
- No swimming alone, children under 14 and non-swimmers shall not use pool unless accompanied by a responsible adult.
- Ratio of children under 14 and non-swimmers (2) to adult swimmer(1) is 2:1.
- Use of life safety device required for non-swimmers (not provided)
- Inflatables used in the lake are not permitted at this time
What are the plans for the pool house?
- Maintaining the current pool
- Installing HVAC for moisture and temperature control
- Updating the pool and bathrooms for accessibility
- Improving safety (ie: safety cover)
- Additional programs as community feedback and funding are received
This is a pilot program, and we reserve the right to make changes at any time for safety and/or to better serve our volunteers and community.
POOL RENTAL PROGRAM
Who can make a reservation?
1) Lake Santee residents.
2) Decatur and Franklin county families with a “sensitive swimmer,” defined as someone who may require private swimming arrangements due to sensory or other challenges.
Cost
This program raises funds to improve the pool house. Please choose your amount for the 2-hour reservation.

Pool Pals: $25.00
Splash Club: $50.00
Wave Makers: $100.00
Cannon Ball Crew: $150.00
Sea Parters: $200.00
What are the steps to making a pool reservation?
- Reach out regarding your 2-hour time slot date and time:
info@lakeviewwellness.org or 812.302.2505 - Once your date is confirmed we will send you a rental agreement
- If you have not yet visited the marina pool, we will require you stop by to sign your contract in person and look at the pool and property.
- Cost: Once your agreement is signed you may visit our fundraising site at to choose your payment, due 48 hours prior to your reservation
- After your rental: You will be asked to complete a short survey within a week of your visit if possible, to help us get feedback in a timely fashion!
